Higher Plane wines are truly single-vineyard & a reflection of their surroundings – a cool, southern pocket of Margaret River (Karridale) nestled within Karri forests 10km from the coast. The site is subject to the patterns of both Indian & Southern oceans - in particular the convergence of the two, resulting in cooler ripening periods giving both whites & reds a freshness & tension. Farmed sustainably with organic principles, the close-planted vineyard allows for more inter-vine competition & less vegetative growth, leading to better fruit quality.
